GURUGRAM:  Due to violation of license norms and regulations, the DTPC (Department of town and country planning) has banned the sale and purchase of possession in a group housing society spread across 11 acres in Sector 90, Gurugram.

The DTPC has also issued strict orders to the tehsildar anxious to not execute any sale deeds in this society.

Amit Madholia, the District town planner, said in his statement that we had taken action against the developer. Because an agreement was assigned with the land owners for giving 35% of the area or land for sale.

But even after the agreement, a settlement was made with other developers without asking for any permission.

The Department of town and country planning investigated this matter. It was found that the developers did not take any compulsory permission from the authority.

Based on the complaint, it was found that the developers, before entering into accordance with other developers and creating third-party rights.

The DTCP has written a letter to the revenue department to ask the Department to stop the registry of sale deeds and also issued a red entry for this record.

The also ordered the freezing of the inventory of the colony, Amit Madholia said in his statement.

The Department issued orders to the Department of revenue to stop all purchase and sale exploitation of registrations in Sushant Lok Phase 2, Gurugram because the developer of the Ansal Buildwell had failed to renew their project license even years after it expired in August 2022.

Similarly, in August, due to violations of non-payment of dues, license norms, rules, and regulations also, EDC (external development charges), the Department banned the purchase and sale of properties in 18 residential societies in Gurgaon.
