Haryana CM, Khattar said that the Global City is a mixed land-use township being developed over nearly 1,080 acres to redefine the concept of urban development and what future cities will look like through its sustainability-focused future-oriented infrastructure planning and design.
It is reported that the Haryana government is looking at the possibility of investing Rs. 1 lakh crore for Gurugram’s Global City project in Gurugram, which will be spread over around 1,080 acres of land.
In a press conference held here on Thursday, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, during his Dubai visit, also secured investments for the project and explained that it is currently being planned by the (HSIIDC) Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation.
In the first phase, the target is to auction off 250 acres of land before the end of November, and the auction of the remaining land will take place in a grading way, he added.

There have been four roadshows as part of the project, two at Gurugram and one in Mumbai in Mumbai and Dubai,” said Khattar and added that 13 major companies had shown enthusiasm for the project far.
Khattar stated that a single-window system would be implemented to complete all work connected to the project. All authorizations will be granted via it, he added.
In response to a query, The Chief Minister stated that the plots of land in Global City would be sold in a mixed land-use form.
Khattar stated that the state’s youth would have jobs abroad, too, by way of Haryana Overseas Placement, which will operate under Haryana’s Foreign Cooperation Department.
He stated in his Dubai visit; he met with several placement companies. According to the needs of these companies for placement, youngsters will be taught in the UAE and then sent to other countries to work.
“We are planning to send 1 lakh youngsters after they have been trained within the State,” khattar said.
There is a demand for electricians, masons and masons within the residential real estate industry that he explained in addition to “we are able to send people to the area after giving them training”.

He added that he said that if a family is below the poverty level or has children that are not employed are given the top priority.
In response to a question, Khattar said that the flow of capital into the state over the past six-to-seven years has led to the creation in the region of 5.50 million jobs.
Companies are always buying land in Haryana to invest. Haryana has been a preferred investment location by investors.
The CM said that new projects are being started continuously around Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway. The government will buy land for new projects through the e-Bhoomi and Land Pooling Policy.
He also said that more projects similar to Global City would be planned shortly.
Additionally, Khattar said a foundation for setting an eco-tourism safari in the Gurugram or Nuh districts, which cover 10,000 acres within the Aravali range, will be established for this goal.
To create Jungle Safari, the spokesman said that 6000 acres of land are earmarked within Gurugram while 4000 acres are earmarked in Nuh.

Khattar has recently visited Sharjah, where he was a guest at the world’s largest safari park outside of Africa. The park was inaugurated in February 2022. Sharjah Safari encompasses around 22,000 acres.
The Chief Minister has stated his office and his Central Zoo Authority has done an assessment study of the region for this and has endorsed how feasible it is to establish the park.
He stated that, on the one hand, developing a jungle safari will help to preserve the mountain range. On the other hand, many tourists from Delhi and surrounding areas will travel to the region to visit, which could bring in many employment opportunities for the local population.
The villagers of the villages around will also benefit from The Home Stay Policy, said Khattar.
