What is Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

- Under this Avasiya Scheme, you will have to pay only 6.50% interest on the loan taken from the bank.
- Under the PM Awas Yojana, loans are given to disabled people and women at very low interest rates.
- Beneficiaries in the plains receive ₹120,000 in financial assistance, while those in hilly areas can receive up to ₹130,000, reflecting the differing needs and challenges of each location.
- If you construct a toilet under this scheme, then you are given a separate financial assistance of Rs 12000.
- Under this Avasye Yojana, the amount provided by the bank is transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account.

- Only the residents of India can take advantage of this scheme.
- The person applying under PM Awas Yojana 2024 should not already have a pucca house.
